Selecting just the right cheesecake and bottle of wine can easily become a fun adventure, plus a wonderful way to support local. Whether you enjoy dry, semi-sweet, or sweet wines, we will be offering some delightful pairings to explore.
Menu:
Classic Cheesecake & 2022 Dry Riesling
Classic cheesecake, with its rich, creamy texture and subtle tang, pairs beautifully with a dry Riesling. The wine’s crisp acidity cuts through the richness of the dessert, while its citrus and mineral notes enhance the cheesecake’s delicate sweetness without overwhelming it. This pairing creates a refreshing balance that leaves the palate clean and craving another bite.
Almond Cherry & 2023 Sangiovese Rosé
Cherry almond cheesecake pairs delightfully with a Sangiovese rosé, whose bright red fruit notes and lively acidity complement the tart cherries and nutty almond flavors. The rosé’s crisp, dry finish balances the richness of the cheesecake, while its subtle floral undertones echo the dessert’s elegant complexity. It's a fresh, vibrant pairing perfect for spring or summer indulgence.
Italian Sausage & 2022 Montepulciano
Savory Italian sausage cheesecake finds a bold and harmonious partner in Montepulciano. The wine’s deep, earthy flavors and firm tannins stand up to the richness of the cheesecake and the spice of the sausage, while its dark fruit notes add a touch of contrast. Together, they create a savory, full-bodied pairing that’s both comforting and unexpected.
Death by Chocolate & 2021 Reserve Merlot
Chocolate cheesecake and Merlot make a luscious, velvety pairing, with the wine’s soft tannins and ripe dark fruit notes echoing the richness of the chocolate. Merlot’s hints of plum, mocha, and vanilla complement the dessert’s creamy texture and deepen its cocoa flavors without overwhelming them. It’s an indulgent match that’s smooth, elegant, and deeply satisfying.
Bourbon Pecan & 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon
Bourbon chocolate cheesecake pairs powerfully with Cabernet Sauvignon, as the wine’s bold structure and dark fruit intensity complement the rich, boozy depth of the dessert. Notes of blackberry, black currant, and toasted oak in the Cabernet echo the bourbon’s warmth, creating a decadent, full-bodied experience that lingers long after the last bite.
