2021 Reserve Montepulciano
Montepulciano is the second most popular grape variety grown in Italy. It is commonly used as a blending grape with Sangiovese, but also is seen in varietal wines around the world. This medium bodied red wine features a dark purple color with aromatic notes of red plum, leather and subtle tones of earthiness. With a medium finish, this wine tastes of sour cherry, cranberry and dried thyme. This wine pairs well with pizza, spaghetti, lasagna and other hearty tomato based dishes.
