2018 Sangiovese
This light bodied wine bears a medium cherry hue and features fruit-forward tasting notes of tart cherry, red plum, and fig, with subtle leather and smoked accents. Sangiovese pairs well with roasted meats, cured sausages, and vegetable based meals. Sangiovese is notorious in the world as the grape variety used in Chianti wines. It is the most widely planted red wine grape in Italy.
